Thursday, March 1st, 2018 -- Arizona's Jen Klein has been named as the new women's head coach at the University of Michigan after spending the last four seasons at the University of Southern California.

Klein graduated from Prescott High School in 2002 and attended the University of Arizona, where she was part of the school's first Pac-10 championship team in 2004. She also played locally for the W-League's Arizona Heatwave from 2003-05.
At USC, Klein was instrumental in helping the program win the 2016 national championship. In four seasons with the Trojans, and three serving as the associate head coach, Klein helped USC compile a 71-19-9 record while posting a 31-11-2 mark in conference play.
She will join Michigan on March 12 as she is currently with the U18 Women's National Team that is in Spain competing against England, the Netherlands, and Norway.
Prior to USC, Klein served as an assistant at Washington State from 2013-14 and spent five years at UNLV, including the final two as the program's head coach. At the time, she was the youngest head coach in NCAA Division I women's soccer.
Her coaching career started as a volunteer assistant at the University of Arizona during the 2006 season.
