Wednesday, August 29th, 2018 -- The Arizona Soccer Association is pleased to announce Jason Hall as the ASA TOPSoccer Chair.

TOPSoccer is a community based program that is designed to meet the needs of children and young adults that have physical and/or intellectual disabilities. This program is geared towards player development rather than competition.

Hall, an Arizona native, has been involved in soccer since he was three years old.  Hall started playing soccer with the YMCA and also played locally for GYSA Gilbert Elite, Mesa Soccer Club, Gilbert High School (Class of 1993). He then played for South Mountain Community College and finished his college career with Hope International University.  Hall transferred to Northern Arizona University and graduated in 1998. After graduating from NAU, Hall entered the workforce in law enforcement and he has been a police officer for 19 years.

Since 1998, Hall has coached at several high schools, east valley soccer clubs, and two Arizona community colleges. He also received his Master's Degree in Coaching and Athletic Administration from Concordia University-Irvine.

While coaching competitive teams, Hall was introduced to TOPSoccer. During his tenure at Real Salt Lake Arizona South, Hall was the coordinator of the TOPSoccer program from 2016-19. He is now assisting with the creation of the TOPSoccer program at Arizona Soccer Club.

"My goal as TOPSoccer State Chair is to make this program available across the entire state of Arizona," Hall said.  "There are several children across the state that are sitting, watching, and supporting their siblings playing soccer from the sidelines that would love to play the game.  It is time we flip the script so their siblings can watch them play the beautiful game of soccer."
