ARIZONA STATE REFEREE ADMINISTRATION - NEW STATE REFEREE ADMINISTRATOR

This update (Click Here) will be sent via email on a monthly basis to provide the referee community with information about the U.S. Soccer Referee Program. In particular, U.S. Soccer's commitment to providing quality education resources for officials of all levels will be featured in these updates so be sure to take full advantage of the information. 
 

 
NEW FOR THE 2013-14 SEASON:

REFEREES WHO ARE MINORS (AGE 17 OR YOUNGER) (UPDATED 08/19/2013):
Go to GotSoccer by clicking
here and log into your referee account. (If you do not have a GotSoccer account, you will need to create one first.) Click on "My Account" in the blue menu bar. Then,in the grey menu bar, click on "Age Verification". When the page appears, click on "Submit New Report". Fill in any additional information, scroll to the bottom, carefully read the statements, click "I Agree" and then click on Submit. A page that time stamps your verification will appear.

REFEREES WHO ARE ADULTS (AGED 18 OR OLDER):
Go to GotSoccer by clicking
here and log into your referee account. (If you do not have a GotSoccer account, you will need to create one first.) Click on "My Account" in the blue menu bar. Then,in the grey menu bar, click on "Background Checks". When the page appears, click on "Submit New Report". Fill in any additional information, carefully read the statements and answer truthfully, click "I Agree" and then click on Submit. A page that time stamps your report will appear.

ASSIGNORS:
REMINDER: All AYSA Clubs MUST use USSF Certified Assignors and ALL USSF referees MUST be assigned by USSF assignors. All existing assignors must attend an in-service each year. Only two new assignor classes and three assignor in-service clinics will be held for the 2013-2014 season. Be sure to plan ahead so that your club and referees will be in compliance with AYSA and USYSA requirements. KINGMAN COURSES:
Kingman Referee classes have been posted and are open for registration. The Grade 8 is for new referees or existing Grade 9 referees who wish to upgrade to Grade 8. The Recertification Clinic is for all existing Grade 7, 8, and 9 referees who must annually recertify in order to maintain their USSF licenses. Please go to the azref.com website under classes and clinics to find the details about the classes and to get started on the online registration and payment. As you know, registration must be done online and payment made by NOON on the day prior to the start of class. 




DAN CHRISTY - ARIZONA STATE REFEREE ADMINISTRATOR (1991-2013):
We are saddened to announce the passing of our beloved leader and friend, Dan Christy, who headed up the Arizona State Referee Administration for more than 22 years. Dan served Arizona as a referee, assessor, instructor, and assignor and mentored countless referees over the years. His contributions led to his being awarded lifetime membership in USSF...
