Arizona Player Named to US Women's National Team for World Cup!

The United States Women’s U-17 National Team has announced their 22 player roster that will compete in the upcoming FIFA Under-17 Women’s World Cup.
AYSA would like to congratulate Goalkeeper Cassie Miller for her selection to the squad! Cassie and her teammates will travel to Azerbaijan for the event which will be held September 22nd thru October 13th. The US Women will have Group “B” matches against France on September 22nd, Gambia on September 25th, and Korea DPR on September 29th.
Miller, has been a part of the US Women’s National squad for several years, including her participation in the qualification for the World Cup last May.
The squad, coached by Albertin Montoya was named after a training camp at the Home Depot Center in Carson, California (August 19-26). Heading into the World Cup, the U-17 team has an overall record of 22-5-6 from 2010-2011.
