US Youth Soccer Nationals - Overland Park, Kansas

US Youth Soccer Nationals, part of the prestigious National Championship Series will be held later this month in Overland Park, Kansas. This event brings together the regional champions throughout US Youth Soccer in addition to teams who qualified via the National League.

Representing Arizona Youth Soccer will be the CCV Stars '97 Boys team (Pictured above) of Peoria, Arizona. The squad, coached by Harry Demos qualified by capturing the 2013-14 National League Title back in March. In addition to securing the National League, the team also were the 2013 Arizona State Cup Champions. Congratulations to the Stars and good luck in Kansas! 
Each summer, the US Youth Soccer National Championship Series crowns the boys and girls national champion in seven age groups (Under-13 through Under-19). The finals are a culmination of a year-long series of competitions at the state and regional levels which provides approximately 185,000 players on over 10,000 teams from 55 US Youth Soccer State Associations the opportunity to showcase their soccer skills against the best competition in the nation. 
Additionally, this is a tremendous opportunity for referees to further their abilities and growth by taking part in this competition. This year, three referees from Arizona have been selected to participate at Nationals.
