St. Baldricks Foundation "Coaches United Against Cancer"


"COACHES UNITED AGAINST CANCER"
Tempe, Arizona & Tucson Arizona
March 4-5, 2014

Childhood Cancer strikes 175,000 youth per year - worldwide… The costs of treatment and research are ever increasing.

Held over two evenings, AYSA hosted two events in Tempe and Tucson called, "Coaches United Against Cancer".  The goal...  To raise as much money as possible to support the St. Baldrick's Foundation and their efforts to cure kids from cancers.

The total combined efforts from both events raised over $18,000.00

TUESDAY, MARCH 4, 2014 - SPORTS AUTHORITY - TEMPE, ARIZONA:

Over 20 local soccer coaches and a youth Lacrosse club stepped into the barbers chair to have their heads shaved at Sports Authority - Arizona Mills Mall in Tempe, Arizona... 

TEMPE FUNDRAISING GOAL:  $10,000.00

For their efforts, this brave group was able to raise $11,670.00 in personal donations at the event.

WEDNESDAY, MARCH 5, 2014 - KAS "KICKIN 'IT CLUBHOUSE" - TUCSON, ARIZONA:

Over 15 local soccer coaches and players stepped into the barbers chair to have their heads shaved at the AKS "Kickin' It" Clubhouse in Tucson, Arizona...

TUCSON FUNDRAISING GOAL: $5,000.00

For their efforts, this brave group was able to raise $7,000.00 in personal donations at the event.
